Meeting: Scenic Overlook parking lot on 28 just south of Incline, NV before you get to Sand Harbor
Follow lead driver to: about 4.5 miles south on 28 - to a trailhead parking on the road very near to Thunderbird Lodge but not on their property
Hike: About one-half mile down the trail to a beautiful and quiet cove. Must be fit enough to hike back uphill when done painting!
Amenities: None, but the bathroom is at the Scenic Overlook parking lot you just left
What to bring:
- camera
- painting gear
- drinking water and lunch
- sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
- backpack or something to carry your gear down and back
- cell phone
- Dip in the Lake! Bring or wear your swimsuit and towel!
