SOMETHING NEW ON THE RTPAP BLOG

Hi painters,

Since I'm back to administering this plein air painters blog, I made a few changes in the lay-out you may notice.  I moved some of the items from the left-hand column over to the right side.  The left-hand column is now just "member related".

I have added a section at the bottom of the "member related" column called "Advertisements - Member Shows and Art Lessons".   I added my own Open Studio show and lessons offered there as an example.  Advertising your exhibit, open studio and art classes you offer can now be advertised on this blog at a low price.  Because administering this blog is totally volunteered by me, and my time is worth something, I need to charge for this advertising for you.

There will be only one type of ad:

Short Form - only the event, name, date, time and location and link to your website page for more information.

The fees are set up as follows:

1-2 month Fee:  $10   - up to 2 months before event date.  After event date it will be deleted.
3-6 month Fee:  $20  - for ongoing art lessons up to 6-month run
12-month Fee:  $40 - for ongoing art lessons up to a 12-month run

Note:  Updating your links:  If over time you change the page link in your website, you must notify me, the administrator, and provide me the new link to your information about your event.  Having a broken link or "page not found" won't help you in your advertising.

Please note:  These ads will just appear on the blog - they will not be sent out to subscribers in the form of an email.  I do not want the subscribers to be deluged by email advertisements.  I want this blog to keep to the original plan - plein air paint-outs scheduled for people to attend for free.
